Plant Description: Commonly known as the Giant Chain Fern, Woodwardia fimbriata is the largest fern in all of North America, growing as big as 6 feet tall and wide, with each frond potentially reaching 8 feet long. Called a Chain Fern for it s sori form oblong clusters on the underside of each leaflet, resembling a chain.
